FTLE RESULTS — The full results of August 2026 Food Technologists Licensure Exam (FTLE), including the list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing school and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, August 17, 2026, two (2) working days after the last day of examinations.
The Commission conducted the FTLE this year on August 12 and 13, 2026 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, and Tuguegarao.
The members of the Board of Food Technology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Anthony C. Sales, Chairman; and Hon. Remedios V. Baclig, Member.

Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the August 2026 Food Technologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination results will be released on Monday, August 17, 2026, two (2) working days after the exams.
The release date may still change and could be posted later than the target date. We advise examinees to bookmark this page and follow our social media channels for the latest updates and official announcements from the PRC.
Registration and Oathtaking
PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for the new food technologists will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
Verification of Rating
All examinees of the August 2026 Food Technologist Licensure Exam (FTLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.

The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.
Coverage of Examinations
The two-day examination covered the following subjects:
Day 1 (August 12, 2026): physical, chemical, biological and microbiological principles (25%); food laws and regulations and concepts of food science and technology, food safety, food analysis, food research and nutrition (25%)
Day 2 (August 13, 2026): food processing, preservation and food engineering (25%); food quality assurance and sensory evaluation and other aspects of food manufacturing (25%)
Previous Examinations
The August 2025 Food Technologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination (FTLE) results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) immediately after the final day of the examination. A total of 586 out of 931 examinees passed.
For the August 2024 Food Technologists Licensure Examination, PRC released the results within two working days after the final day of the exam. Of the 995 examinees, 510 successfully passed.
The inaugural Food Technologists Licensure Examination in August 2023 had its results released three working days after the last day of the examination. A total of 453 out of 1,133 examinees passed.

About the Food Tech Licensure Exam
Food Technology became a regulated profession in the Philippines with the enactment of Republic Act No. 11052, or the Philippine Food Technology Act, in June 2018 under then-President Rodrigo R. Duterte.
The law established the Board of Food Technology under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to oversee the registration, licensure, and professional practice of food technologists in the country. It also set the standards and regulations governing the profession.
The first Food Technologists Licensure Examination was subsequently conducted in August 2023, marking the start of the country's professional licensure system for food technologists.
