MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces results of the August 2026 Criminologists Licensure Examination (CLE), including the list of top performing schools and performance of schools, on September 1, 2026, 21 working days after the last day of exams.
The PRC Board of Criminology administered the second CLE this year on August 1, 2, and 3, 2026 across testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Mati, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Lipa (Batangas), Nueva Vizcaya, Santiago City and Sablayan (Occidental Mindoro).

Previous Examinations
In the February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), the University of Iloilo topped the schools in the category with 200 or more examinees, recording a 96.76% passing rate as 448 of its 463 examinees passed. The University of the Cordilleras followed in second place with a 95.63% passing rate, with 197 of 206 examinees successfully passing the exam.
For the August 2025 CLE, Araullo University led the same category with a 92.80% passing rate, with 348 of 375 examinees passing. The University of Mindanao (UM)–Davao City ranked second, posting an 88.94% passing rate as 201 of its 226 examinees passed.
Earlier, in the February 2025 CLE, the University of Iloilo again secured the top spot with a 96.44% passing rate, with 271 of 281 examinees passing the exam. The University of the Cordilleras placed second with a 91.50% passing rate, with 183 of 200 examinees successfully passing.
