MANILA, Philippines – The Supreme Court (SC) released the complete results of the 2026 Shari’ah Special Bar Examinations (SSBE) on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. View here the complete list of topnotchers.
The examination was held on May 24 and 27, 2026 across four testing centers: New Era University in Quezon City, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, and Ateneo de Davao University.
A total of 235 out of 796 examinees or 29.52% passed the digitalized and regionalized special exams for the Shari’ah courts, according to Supreme Court Associate Justice Henri Jean Paul Inting, Chairperson of the 2026 SSBE.

Clearance, oath-taking, and roll signing ceremonies
The SC said only successful examinees who have complied with the application requirements under Shari’ah Special Bar Bulletin No. 1, dated October 9, 2025, may proceed with the clearance process.
Successful examinees are advised to check their BARISTA account to verify that their application status has been updated and tagged as "Complied."
All successful examinees must complete the clearance process through BARISTA from July 2, 2026 (Thursday), 8:00 a.m. to July 6, 2026 (Monday), 4:30 p.m. No requests for extension will be accepted.
Only examinees whose BARISTA accounts are tagged as "Complied" will be eligible to participate in the Oath-Taking and Roll Signing Ceremonies.
