MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that none passed out of 1 examinee in the Certified Public Accountants Special Professional Licensure Examination (CPA-SPLE) given by the Board of Accountancy in Taipei last May 2026.
The special CPALE was given by the Board of Accountancy composed of Hon. Noe G. Quiñanola, Chairman; Hon. Samuel B. Padilla, Vice Chairman; Hon. Gloria T. Baysa, Hon. Thelma S. Ciudadano, Hon. Gervacio I. Piator and Hon. Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan, Members.
According to PRC, the conduct of SPLE for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1034 (s. 2017), Republic Act No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.

The performance of schools in the May 2026 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (SPLE) in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation" is as follows:

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form;
- valid government-issued ID.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Coverage of Examination
The CPA board exam in Taiwan covers the following subjects: taxation, regulatory framework for business transactions (Day 1); management advisory services and auditing (Day 2) and financial accounting and reporting and advanced financial accounting and reporting (Day 3).
