RESULTS: 3,004 out of 9,745 pass May 2026 CPALE; UP-Diliman grad tops exam

MANILA, Philippines – A total of 3,004 out of 9,745 (30.83%) successfully passed the Certified Public Accountants Licensure Exam (CPALE) conducted in at least 16 test centers nationwide on May 24, 25, and 26, 2026, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

James Al Alcayde Serondo from University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman aced the board with 91.17% grade.

Closely following is Miko Andre Reyes Villenas of Southern Luzon State University (SLSU)–Lucban, who posted a 91.00% rating.

UP-Diliman was the lone top performing school with 98.15% or 53 out of 54 passed.

The members of the Board of Accountancy who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Noe G. Quiñanola, Chairman; Hon. Samuel B. Padilla, Vice Chairman; Hon. Gloria T. Baysa, Hon. Thelma S. Ciudadano, Hon. Gervacio I. Piator and Hon. Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan, Members.

COMPLETE RESULTS OF MAY 2026 CPALE

The online registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) for the new accountants and Certificate of Registration will be held on below schedule.

Date of Registration: Starting July 9, 2026

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:

  • Notice of Admission (for identification only);
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal;
  • two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag);
  • two sets of documentary stamps;
  • 1 piece short brown envelope.

Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the May 2025 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Exam (CPALE) WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
