MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases results of April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electrician (RME) Licensure Exam on Tuesday, April 28. View here the list of top performing schools and performance of schools.
PRC conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on April 21 and 22, 2026 for REE and April 23, 2026 for RME.

Previous Examinations
In the August 2025 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations, the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) emerged as the top performing school in the Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) board exam with a perfect 100% passing rate, with all 30 examinees passing. Meanwhile, no school qualified for the top performing schools list in the Registered Master Electrician (RME) board exam.
During the April 2025 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations, University of Batangas topped the REE board exam with a 97.01% passing rate, with 65 out of 67 examinees successfully passing. Similar to the previous exam cycle, no school qualified for the top performing schools list in the RME board exam.
In the August 2024 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations, UPLB once again led the REE board exam, posting a flawless 100% passing rate with all 22 takers passing. For the RME board exam, Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP)-Manila stood as the lone top performing school, recording a 90.91% passing rate, or 20 out of 22 passers.
Meanwhile, in the April 2024 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations, University of Batangas topped the REE board exam with a 96.20% passing rate, equivalent to 76 passers out of 79 examinees. Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Sto. Tomas ranked second with a 90.38% passing rate, producing 94 passers out of 104 takers.
