CEBU, Philippines – A magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck Cebu on Monday afternoon, April 6, 2026, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

The tectonic tremor occurred at 3:22 p.m., with its epicenter located 12 kilometers southeast of Bogo City, Cebu at a shallow depth of 11 kilometers.
