The inspiring story of the siblings was exclusively shared with The Summit Express by their proud family, highlighting the journey behind their remarkable academic achievements.
During a recognition ceremony held at the Convention Center in General Trias, Cavite on March 23, 2026, the Bugaing siblings proudly celebrated their achievements as Grade 4 student Jahnn Thirdy Cypher L. Their success story also reflects the quiet sacrifices behind the scenes, with their father working overseas as an OFW seaman while their mother devotes her time as a full-time homemaker guiding and supporting the children’s academic journey.
Janice emphasized that beyond the medals and recognition, the most important lesson they teach their children is humility and gratitude for the blessings they receive.
“Lagi namin silang pinapaalalahanan na importante ang pag-aaral para sa magandang kinabukasan nila at anuman ang kanilang nakakamit ay manatiling humble at laging magpasalamat sa Panginoon,” she said.
She also expressed heartfelt appreciation to the school and the teachers who helped nurture the children’s abilities and encouraged them to pursue excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
Their older sister, Janica Jehn, who often supports them from afar because of her own responsibilities and studies, said seeing their achievements fills her heart with pride.
“Sometimes that distance feels heavy, but despite that they continue to grow, to persevere, and to achieve so much through their own hard work, and I find myself just in awe of them,” she shared.
Janica Jehn also acknowledged the strength of their mother, describing her as the quiet pillar of the family whose sacrifices, patience, and unwavering love continue to shape the future of her children.
As the Bugaing siblings continue their journey in education, their story serves as a powerful reminder that behind every young achiever is a family filled with encouragement, faith, and dedication that turns dreams into extraordinary milestones.
