MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces on Thursday, February 19, 2026 the complete results of February 2026 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Exam (MELE), including the top performing schools and performance of schools.
PRC conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Palawan, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga on February 11, 12, and 13, 2026.

Previous Examinations
In the August 2025 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE), Batangas State University–Alangilan emerged as the top-performing school with an 83.27% passing rate, or 204 out of 245 examinees. De La Salle University–Manila followed in second place with 80.00%, equivalent to 60 out of 75 passers.
During the February 2025 MELE, the University of the Philippines–Diliman led the schools after posting an impressive 92.31% passing rate, with 48 out of 52 examinees successfully passing the test. Batangas State University–Alangilan ranked second with 84.00%, or 105 out of 125 passers.
Earlier, in the August 2024 Mechanical Engineering board exams, Batangas State University–Alangilan once again topped the rankings with a 93.71% passing rate, or 164 out of 175 examinees. De La Salle University–Manila placed second with 82.05%, or 64 out of 78 passers.
Meanwhile, in the February 2024 MELE, the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines–CDO recorded the highest passing rate at 97.33%, with 73 out of 75 examinees passing. Bicol University–Legazpi secured second place with 93.33%, or 70 out of 75 successful examinees.
