MANILA, Philippines – Several local government units (LGUs) have announced the suspension of classes on Monday, October 20, 2025, due to Tropical Storm Ramil and the rising cases of influenza or flu.

According to PAGASA’s 5:00 PM bulletin on Sunday, the center of Tropical Storm Ramil was estimated, based on all available data, to be located 85 km west-northwest of Iba, Zambales.
Bagyong Ramil carries maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 80 km/h, and a central pressure of 998 hPa.

On the forecast track, Ramil will continue moving west northwestward or northwestward over the West Philippine Sea. It is forecast to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow (October 20) morning.
Automatic Class Suspensions
