MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) has officially released the list of topnotchers or the top 10 passers of the PMA Entrance Examination (PMAEE) 2025.

Leading this year’s batch is Amanda Isabel Tolentino Guzman from the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) – Bicol Region Campus.

Following closely in second place is Gwen Kyla Polo Phalashol from PSHS – Central Mindanao Campus.

According to the PMA, a total of 1,436 applicants successfully passed this year’s entrance examination.

Top 10 Passers: PMA Entrance Exam (PMAEE) Results 2025

Conduct of the Examination

According to the academy, the PMA Entrance Examination 2025 was administered nationwide from July 26 to September 21, 2025, across 48 testing centers.

Here’s the schedule and coverage of the exams:

  • Eastern Mindanao: July 26–27, 2025
  • Western Mindanao: August 9–10, 2025
  • Visayas and Bicol: August 23–24, 2025
  • National Capital Region and CALABARZON: September 6–7, 2025
  • Northern and Central Luzon: September 20–21, 2025

Those who passed the PMAEE will proceed to the next phase of the selection process — the Complete Physical Examination (CPE) — which includes medical, psychological, and physical evaluations.

The CPE will be conducted at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center, Camp Victoriano K. Luna, V. Luna Avenue, Quezon City. This stage determines the candidates’ physical and mental fitness to undergo the four-year intensive military training inside the country’s premier military institution.

Qualified applicants will be notified through mail and email regarding the next steps of the admission process for the PMA Class of 2030.

About the PMA Entrance Examination

The PMAEE is designed to measure the mental aptitude of aspiring cadets in the following areas:

  • Mathematics – Algebra and Geometry
  • English – Grammar, Composition, Reading, and Comprehension
  • Abstract Reasoning – Verbal, Numerical, and Pattern Analysis

Qualifications

  • A natural-born Filipino citizen
  • Single and has never been married
  • Physically fit and of good moral character
  • At least a high school graduate with a minimum GPA of 85%
  • Grade 12 students (K-12) may take the exam, provided they graduate before June 1, 2026
  • At least 17 years old and not more than 22 years old on April 1 of the year of admission
  • Minimum height: 5 feet (for both men and women)
