MANILA, Philippines — The October 2025 Mining Engineer licensure exam (MELE) results, which include the full list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing school and performance of schools, are available here as officially released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Mining Engineering on October 24, 2025, one (1) working day after the exam.
As announced, 214 out of 290 (73.79%) passed the October 2025 MELE.
The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
PRC administered the Mining Engineer board exam on October 21, 22, and 23, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Lucena, Legazpi, and Rosales.

Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the October 2025 Mining Engineer Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the October 2025 Mining Engineer board exam results will be released on Monday, October 27, 2025.
With the computer-based modality of the exams, the results may be released ahead of the target or immediately after the exams. We advise takers to monitor results starting Thursday, October 23.
Registration and Oathtaking
PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting November 24, 2025
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
Verification of Rating
Mining Engineer board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
Coverage of Examinations
The three-day examination covered mining engineering I, II and III subjects.
Mining Engineering I (35%) includes mineral prospecting and exploration, sampling and ore reserve estimation, mining methods, mine planning, designing and developments, ventilation and mine safety, rock mechanics in mining engineering and applied mathematics in mine mathematics.
Mining Engineering II (35%) covers mineral economics, mine evaluation and feasibility studies, applied mathematics in mining engineering, mine management and computer application, mine and mineral land surveying and mining law and ethics.
Mining Engineering III (30%) includes general geology, mineralogy and petrology, economics geology, structural geology, principles of metallurgy, mineral processsing and assaying and applied mathematics in geology and mineral engineering and ecology.
Previous Examinations
In the October and November 2024 Mining Engineers Licensure Examination, the PRC released the results after five (5) working days. A total of 259 out of 365 examinees successfully passed the tests.
During the August 2023 Mining Engineer Licensure Examination, results were released in just one (1) working day, with 242 out of 351 examinees passing.
Meanwhile, in the August–September 2022 exams, PRC announced the results after three (3) working days. A total of 253 out of 389 examinees passed.
In the August 2021 examination, results were also released within three (3) days, with 206 out of 274 examinees making the list of passers.
