Sanchez takes home the $1-million prize and the coveted AGT 2025 title, marking a career-defining moment for the powerhouse vocalist.
Before the big announcement, Sanchez wowed the audience once again with a soaring performance of “Golden Hour,” accompanied by an aerial act from Circa Marea.
A powerful performance despite pregnancy
At nine months pregnant, Sanchez stunned the judges and audience with her rendition of Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ ballad “Die With A Smile.” Her heartfelt performance turned into a showstopping moment that earned her a standing ovation.
Judge Sofía Vergara, who previously gave Sanchez her Golden Buzzer, affectionately called her “a little pregnant angel” and praised her extraordinary talent: “Your voice, I haven’t heard anything like that. Bravo, Jessica.”
Mel B highlighted the emotional depth of Sanchez’s performance, saying: “Every time you sing, you pull us into your world. You give us more passion, more emotion, and your vocals are flawless—pitch perfect every single time.”
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell declared her number the best of the night, sealing her place as a frontrunner.
A journey years in the making
Sanchez’s AGT journey has been nothing short of remarkable. She first appeared on the show’s debut season as a 10-year-old semifinalist. This year, she earned her spot in the finals after public voting and a standout comeback in July with Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things,” which secured her Vergara’s Golden Buzzer.
Her rise to fame began when she finished runner-up on American Idol Season 11, capturing international attention with her powerhouse vocals.
A new chapter ahead
Now, as she prepares to welcome her first child, Jessica Sanchez celebrates not only a major personal milestone but also one of the greatest achievements of her career. Her AGT victory cements her legacy as one of the most remarkable voices of her generation.
Congratulations, Jessica!
