MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases list of room assignments for the August 2025 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electrician (RME) board exams.
The second Electrical Engineering board exam this year will be conducted in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on August 18 and 19, 2025 (REE) and August 20, 2025 (RME).

Where to check room assignments?
Check or verify your school/building assignments at the PRC official website (www.prc.gov.ph) or through the Notices/Announcements to be posted at the PRC premises two (2) to three (3) working days before the date of the examination.

What time should examinees report to the testing centers?
Report to the school/building assignment before 5:30 A.M. on the first day of the examination to verify your room and seat number. Be punctual. Late examinees will not be admitted once the examination has already started.
What to wear on examination day?
Examinees are required to wear the following attire every examination day:
Male examinees: White polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo or mark); decent pants or slacks
Female examinees: White blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo or mark); decent slacks or skirt
What should examinees bring in the examination?
Bring the following on examination day:
a. Notice of Admission
b. Official Receipt
c. One (1) piece metered-stamped window mailing envelope
d. Two or more pencils (No. 2)
e. Ballpens with BLACK ink only
f. One (1) piece long brown envelope
g. One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
h. NON-PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATORS (Please refer to Commission Resolution No. 1809-2024 or the “Updated list of Non-Programmable Calculators Allowed to be used in the Licensures Examinations”)
What are the prohibited items inside the examination room?
The following items are strictly PROHIBITED inside the examination premises/rooms.
a. Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula.
b. Calculators which are programmable or with embedded functions especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991 ES plus.
c. APPLE, SAMSUNG AND OTHER SMARTWATCHES, CELLULAR PHONES, EARPLUGS, TRANSMITTERS, PORTABLE COMPUTERS, BLUETOOTH, AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS/DEVICES WHICH MAY BE USED FOR COMMUNICATION PURPOSES
d. Bags of any kind (place your documents inside the transparent/plastic envelope)
e. Other examination aides not stated on this program.
Note: All personal belongings of the examinees shall be surrendered to the proctor and shall be placed in a secured space within the examination room.

When are the results of REE-RME board exam released?
Examination results are released at an average of three (3) working days after the last day of examination.
But for the August 2025 REE-RME board exam, PRC aims to release results on August 28, 2025 or after six working days.
