MANILA, Philippines – The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 Gabi ng Parangal (Awards Night) was held on Friday, December 27 at the Solaire Grand Ballroom in Paranaque City. Below is a full rundown of all the winners.

For its 2024 edition, the MMFF embraces the theme "Sinesigla sa Singkwenta," showcasing 10 competing entries—a notable increase from the usual eight.

The Gabi ng Parangal is one of the highlights of the MMFF to honor the outstanding films, performances, and technical contributions of the entries.

Official entries include Vice Ganda's "And The Breadwinner Is…"; Nadine Lustre's "Uninvited"; Vic Sotto and Piolo Pascual's "The Kingdom"; Judy Ann Santos' "Espantaho" and Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid's "Green Bones."

Also part of the festival are Enrique Gil and Jane de Leon's "Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital"; Arjo Atayde's "Topakk"; Carlo Aquino and Julia Barretto' "Hold Me Close"; Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin's "My Future You" and Aicelle Santos and Bituin Escalante' "Isang Himala."

Producers and cinema operators are expecting for big winners tonight to bounce back on ticket sales after some entries were reported to have a slow start in the box-office.

Special Jury Prize

The Gabi ng Parangal was hosted by Robi Domingo, Gabbi Garcia, Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Tim Yap.

Jefrë Figueras Manuel designed the MMFF trophy featuring a silver figurine with an upper torso of film reel and filmstrip.

The ceremony featured performances from Rachelle Ann Go and Apl de Ap, among others.

While there's no official announcement yet of the topgrossers, reports said that And The Breadwinner Is…, The Kingdom, Espantaho and Uninvited are the top 4 films in the box office.

By virtue of Metro Manila Commission Executive Order No. 86-09, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation Nos. 1459, 1485, 1533, 1533-A and 1647, the MMFF is held during the Christmas Season in recognition of the role of the film industry in providing artistic depictions of both this country's stories and history.

MMFF nationwide screening runs from December 25 until January 7, 2025.
