MANILA, Philippines – The August 2024 Sanitary Engineer licensure exam (SELE) results, which include the complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing school and performance of schools, are available on this page as released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Sanitary Engineering on August 30, 2024 or immediately after the last day of examination.
As announced, 105 out of 156 (67.31%) passed the exams.
The computer-based Sanitary Engineering board exam was administered on August 28, 29 and 30 in the National Capital Region (NCR).

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to http://www.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting October 15, 2024
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
In just few working days after the release of results, all takers may verify their ratings online through PRC's verification of rating page. Provide the required information in the appropriate fields to verify your identity.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The three-day examination covered the following subjects: environmental engineering, public health engineering (Day 1), sanitary science as applied to buildings and civil engineering (Day 2) and waste water engineering and water supply engineering (Day 3).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1836 series of 2024, the target release of the recent Sanitary Engineer board exam is on Tuesday, September 3 or in two (2) working days after the test.
But due to the CBLE nature of the exams, it is possible that PRC will release results immediately after the test similar to the February 2024 SELE.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2024 Sanitary Engineer board exam, PRC released results immediately after the last day of exams. A total of 216 out of 300 passed the exams. University of Baguio topped the schools with 88.89% or 16 out of 18 passed.
In the August 2023 Sanitary Engineer board exams, PRC announced results in two (2) working days from the last day of exam. The agency named 76 out of 162 who successfully passed the tests. None of the schools qualified for the top performing list.
In the January 2023 Sanitary Engineer board exam, PRC announced results in 2 working days from the last day of examination. A total of 198 out of 318 passed the exams. National University (NU)-Manila topped the schools with 90.91% or 30 out of 33 passed.
In the August 2022 SELE, results were also released in just 2 working days. PRC listed 67 out of 189 who passed the exams. Mapua University was the lone top performing school with 83.33% or 15 out of 18 passed.
In the January 2022 SELE, PRC announced results in three (3) working days. A total of 89 out of 177 passed the exams. Mapua University was the lone top performing school with 94.44% or 17 out of 18 passed.
