MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Monday the results of May 2024 Chemical Engineer board exam, which include the top performing schools and performance of schools.
PRC conducted the Chemical Engineer licensure exam (CHELE) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena on May 21,22 and 23. In an advisory, the agency removed testing locations in Rosales, Cagayan De Oro, and Davao for this particular exam.

The top performing schools in the May 2024 Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2017 - 1058 (C) series of 2017: WITH 10 OR MORE EXAMINEES AND WITH AT LEAST 80% PASSING PERCENTAGE

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2023 Chemical Engineer board exams, University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 62 of its takers passed. UP-Los Baños ranked second with 96.43% or 27 out of 28 passed.
In the May 2023 Chemical Engineer board exams, UP-Diliman topped the schools with 96.67% or 29 out of 30 passed the exams. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila came in second place with 90.48% or 19 out of 21 passed.
In the October 2022 Chemical Engineer board exam, UP-Diliman led the schools with 96.36% or 53 out of 55 passed the exams. UP-Los Baños came in second with 92.59% or 25 out of 27 passed.
In the May 2022 Chemical Engineer board exam, UP - Diliman and University of San Carlos (USC) tied on first spot for the top performing schools list, 100% passing rate, 44 and 31 passed, respectively. UP-Los Baños followed with 95.45% (42 out of 44 passed).
In the October 2021 Chemical Engineer board exam, UP - Diliman topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 14 takers passed. USC ranked second with 94.12% or 16 out of 17 passed.
