MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the top performing school/s in the April 2024 Electronics Engineer (ECE) board exam. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 or in three (3) working days after the last day of exam.
PRC conducted the first ECE licensure exam (ECELE) this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on April 11 and 12, 2024.
Examination for the Electronics Technicians (ECT) was administered on April 13.

The top performing schools in the April 2024 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058 (C) series of 2017: WITH 50 OR MORE EXAMINEES AND WITH AT LEAST 80% PASSING PERCENTAGE
Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the April 2024 ECE Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2023, April 2023, April 2022 and October 2022 Electronics Engineer board exam, University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman was the lone top performing school, 96.67% (29 out of 30), 87.50% ( 35 out of 40 passed), 85.71% (36 out of 42 passed) and 88.64% (39 out of 44 passed), respectively.
In the October 2021 ECE board exam, none of the schools qualified for the top performing list.
In the October 2019 ECE board exam, UP - Diliman topped the schools with 97.30% or 72 out of 74 passed. Holy Angel University (HAU) followed with 80% or 56 out of 70 passed.
In the April 2019 exams, UP-Diliman also led the schools with 100% passing rate or all 25 takers passed. University of Batangas ranked second with 87.50% or 21 out of 24 passed.
In the October 2018 exams, UP-Diliman was the lone top performing school, 98% passing rate or 49 out of 50 passed.
