Topnotchers in January 2022 LET become lovers

Despite the reality around us, there are many things that can be considered "magical" and not easily explained. Just like the arrival of a person who can be deemed "forever" and unexpectedly makes the heart beat.

That's what happened to the two individuals who secured the Top 2 spots in the January 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), both achieving a final rating of 92.60%. Hence, they ended up in a tie.

According to the story of two academic achievers who became a couple, Diane Asanza David and Vince William Cabotaje, they did not expect that aside from achieving topnotcher status, they would also find love while reviewing at a review center owned by Carl E. Balita. They even shared their story as guests on the "Bawal Judgmental" segment of "Eat Bulaga!" on November 22, 2022.

Diane shared that because they both became topnotchers, she and Vince started chatting, and their hearts gradually grew closer. Eventually, Vince expressed his intention to court Diane. Diane, on the other hand, didn't prolong the courtship because, for her, she didn't believe in traditional Filipino courtship methods and wanted something different.

After their story was featured on Eat Bulaga, the couple both posted about it.

Vince also posted his version. He was overjoyed because he felt like something magical happened. He believes that the number 2 carried with it a certain magical significance for them.

“first met in an event, Quick 2...
original date of board exam was March 2020...
exam was postponed for 2 years...
natuloy ang board exam ng January 2022...
waited for 2 months before the results...
got an average of 92...
met this amazing girl who is also top 2...
naging official and legal 2 months before the end of 2022…” he said.

“There's always something magical in waiting.

❤️,” he added.

Diane is a Filipino major, while Vince is a Mathematics major. They both mentioned that it was their first time entering into a relationship, making it truly a perfect match. It seems as if their paths were destined to cross.

Based on their recent social media posts, it can be said that the relationship between the two is going strong.

Congratulations to Teacher Diane and Teacher Vince!
