RESULTS: March 2023 Physician board exam PLE performance of schools

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hailed the top performing school in the March 2023 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on March 16 or in three (3) working days after the exam.

PRC administered the first Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on March 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2023.

Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the March 2023 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."



PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the October 2022 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), Angeles University Foundation (AUF) topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 51 takers passed. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) came in second with 97.22% or 105 out of 108 passed.

In the March 2022 Physician Licensure Examination, University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila led the schools with 91.23% or 52 out of 57 passed. University of Santo Tomas (UST) came in second with 85.71% or 120 out of 140 passed.

In the October-November 2021 Physician licensure exams, PLM topped the schools with 98.06% or 101 out of 103 passed. UP - Manila followed with 96.30% or 78 out of 81 passed.

In the September 2021 Physician board exams, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) topped the schools with 98.68% or 75 out of 76 passed. Xavier University followed with 91.55% or 65 out of 71 passed.

In the March 2021 PLE, Far Eastern University (FEU)- Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation led the schools with 91.76% or 167 out of 182 passed. UST ranked second with 88.33% or 53 out of 60 passed.
