Cortesi will represent the country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant.

She also won Best in Swimsuit, Miss Photogenic and some minor awards such as Press' Choice, Miss Avana and Miss Aqua Boracay.

In the final question and answer portion, she was asked: "If you could stop time for a day, how would you spend it?"

Her winning answer was: "If I could stop time, I would spend it with my family, especially mother. It’s been two years since I haven’t spent time with my family because they live in Italy, and I came here in the Philippines just by myself. If I had a chance to spend one day, I would definitely be with my mom, and I would just tell her how much I love her and I miss her."

Cortesi will take home the following prizes: brand new car, endorsements for Creamsilk, Lazada and more.

Also announced on Saturday were the newly added title holders and runners up of the pageant:
  • Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2022: Makati – Michelle Daniela Dee
  • Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2022: Bohol – Pauline Amelinckx
  • 1st Runner Up: Misamis Oriental – Annabelle Mae McDonnell
  • 2nd Runner Up: Taguig – Maria Katrina Llegado
