MANILA, Philippines – A netizen shared how impressed he is with an Angkas rider who gave free rides after passing the December 2021 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE).
On Facebook, Mark Ryan Correa was all praise for his fellow rider, Mark Anthony Combate. He didn't only pass the 2021 Criminology Licensure Examination but he also celebrated by showing kindness to others.
According to Mark Ryan, he spotted Mark Anthony along UP Technohub with a note posted on his barrier. The note said, "Libreng Sakay from Crim Board Passer."
Mary Ryan wrote, "Saludo sau paps Macoy RCrim . Napaka buti mong tao. Congrats ulit.Proud Angkas Biker!"
After sleepless nights of juggling work as a rider and studying for the exam, Mark Anthony finally achieved his dream of passing the board exam.
Showing good deeds to others was Mark Anthony's way of giving back. Mark Ryan explained, “Nag-offer pala siya ng libreng sakay sa mga pasahero dahil nakapasa sya [sa] criminology board exam po."
Mark Ryan said he was impressed and inspired with the good samaritan. He is looking forward to passing the Teachers Licensure Exam and hopes to do the same.
“Kasi may incoming licensure exam for teachers po ako. At ‘pag ako din po ang nakapasa, gagayahin ko po [ang] kasamahan ko po. Mas ginanahan pa po ako ngayon," he added.
According to Mark Anthony, he didn't hesitate to show kindness when he received a big blessing in his life.
He said, “Pag may dumating na blessing po sa buhay, dapat po i-share din sa iba."
The rider said he initially thought of giving away money or goods to others but since he didn't have much, he offered his services instead.
Mark Anthony was among the 11,610 out of 33,983 (34.16%) who passed the exams. The topnotcher of the 2021 December Criminology Licensure Examination was Brenyl Abilla from University of Mindanao - Tagum.
