MANILA, Philippines – Miss Cebu City Beatrice Gomez is Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
She was crowned by reigning Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo of Iloilo City on Thursday night, September 30, at the Henann Resort Convention Center in Alona Beach in Panglao, Bohol.
Gomez will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat, Israel in December 2021.

Gomez will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat, Israel in December 2021.

She also won Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown and some minor awards Miss Creamsilk and Miss Luxxe Immunplus Game Changer.
In the final question and answer portion, she was asked: "If during your reign as Miss Universe Philippines, things happen in your life that make you sad and uninspired, how will you be able to continue inspiring others?"
Her winning answer was:
During the quick Q&A portion of the Top 10, she was asked: "You are beautiful because of your bravery, because you are out and proud a member of the LGBTQIA community. Do you think the Philippines is ready to send a member from your community to the Miss Universe pageant?"
Gomez will take home the following prizes: brand new car, endorsements for Creamsilk, Lazada and more.
Also announced on Thursday were the newly added title holders and runners up of the pageant:

"It is very evident that all of us went through difficulties during this pandemic but it is also proof that we are able to rise to the occasion and if anything happened to me during my reign, I will not give up and inspire others by rising to the problems that I am encountering and by inspiring them that whatever you are going through you are able to overcome it."
During the quick Q&A portion of the Top 10, she was asked: "You are beautiful because of your bravery, because you are out and proud a member of the LGBTQIA community. Do you think the Philippines is ready to send a member from your community to the Miss Universe pageant?"
"I honestly believe that our country has definitely been in a long way in battling our fight for equality especially for the LGBTQIA+ community. Our country has been very supportive and I definitely think we are definitely ready to send someone, an LGBTQIA+ member to the Universe," she answered.
Gomez will take home the following prizes: brand new car, endorsements for Creamsilk, Lazada and more.

- Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2021: Cavite – Victoria Velasquez Vincent
- 1st Runner Up: Pangasinan – Maureen Wroblewitz
- 2nd Runner Up: Cebu Province – Steffi Rose Aberasturi

Twenty-eight (28) delegates competed live and in-person for the title. They were chosen from the series of challenges that trimmed the final cut from initially chosen 100 to 30.
Note: On September 13, delegates from Zambales and Davao City withdrew from the competition due to dengue fever and after testing positive for COVID-19, respectively.
The grand coronation was hosted by KC Montero. Singers Sam Concepcion and Michael Pangilinan performed at the event.
