In a statement, Globe president and CEO Ernest Cu said: “We are hopeful to bring Antipolo one step closer to being a connected city, advancing greater stability and achieving its digital transformation goals.”

Through GoWiFi, Globe has powered up the city hall and key hospitals namely Rizal Provincial Hospital Dalig, Rizal Provincial Hospital Padilla and Rizal Provincial Mambugan with safe, secure and reliable WiFi connectivity.

Through the GoWIFi spots, hospitals can give better telemedicine services as well as pandemic response and coordination. Moreover, hospital personnels and patients can remain in constant communication with their loved ones while at the facility.

Aside from free GoWIFi services, the LGU of Antipolo City has been provided Automated Mobile Blaster (AMBER) services which will help disseminate information to its residents for important announcements like its ongoing vaccination program.

“With GoWiFi and AMBER in place, Globe is helping Antipolenyos stay online, connected, and informed, mula sa mga estudyante at mga guro, mga namamasada, manggagawa, at iba pa,” Antipolo City Mayor Andrea Ynares Ynares said.

Known as Globe’s largest free WiFi Service in the Philippines, GoWiFi hopes to give customers a better connectivity experience. Currently, GoWiFi is accessible in over 3,100 locations nationwide including malls, supermarkets, hospitals, coffee shops, transport terminals, restaurants, convenience stores and LGUs.

Moreover, Globe GoWiFi hotspots are also available at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Land Transportation Office (LTO) and Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

Aside from Antipolo, Globe has partnered with other LGUs such as Pasig, Quezon City, Makati, Manila, Rizal, San Juan and Iloilo.
