Del Rosario issued a statement that the Popstar Royalty is still under the wings of the Kapamilya network following the release of an ad from TV5 showing Sarah in the network’s upcoming show. He denied that the singer-actress will be crossing towards the Kapatid network anytime soon.

"Sarah appears only as an endorser in the show and she is not the host," del Rosario said.

"She just complied to her commitment as an endorser of Talk and Txt. She is still exclusive with ABS-CBN and the only time she appears on TV5 is when she comes out on 'ASAP Natin 'To," he added.

Earlier, social media accounts of TV5 released a photo of Sarah promoting the show "Popinoy," the network's boy band reality competition. The post also hinted that viewers get to see Sarah on the show. The caption goes, "Pop-parating na ang pinakamalaking reality competition show para sa aspiring boy bands. Abangan si Pop Royalty Sarah Geronimo sa #POPinoy, soon on TV5!

Speculations of a network transfer of Sarah has kept her fans abuzz, especially because she is rarely seen on ASAP nowadays.

A netizen commented, "Kaya pala 'di na siya makita sa ASAP baka niluluto pa lang ang paglipat. Run, Sarah, run! lol"

A fan also said, "Sarah G is the only millennial who can SING-ACT-DANCE! Bihirang showbiz qualification yung talent niya! Kahit saan mo ilagay yan, kikita yan! Kaya di rin yan pakakawalan ng Viva at ABS-CBN."

Another netizen wrote "Ganyan dapat, nanggaling na sa boss kung ano ang totoo. Kesa pinangungunahan ng mga basher na nagmamarunong."

The singer has been busy for her upcoming online show, "Tala: The Film Concert" which will be streamed via KTX.ph and iwanTFC on March 27. She is also expected to release a new album this year.
