MANILA, Philippines – A young aspiring vlogger from Negros Occidental was lauded online after she celebrated gaining two subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On Facebook, Mary Grace Escober showed how much she appreciates her two subscribers by having a simple celebration. She posted photos of her smiling happily next to a fastfood meal and a cupcake with the caption, "2 subs."
Many netizens appreciated the humility and some were even inspired to continue pursuing their passion in vlogging. Much to Mary Grace's surprise, she now has over 90,000 subscribers.
Mary Grace says she was surprised after seeing thousands of netizens subscribing to her channel.
“Sobrang happy ko po hindi ko naman po ito inaasahan. Thankful po ako sa lahat ng nag-subscribe sa akin at syempre kay God po dahil sa kanya ang lahat ng ito. Thank you po."
Even comedienne Kiray Celis also encouraged her followers to subscribe to the young vlogger's YouTube channel.
“Hindi ko siya kilala. Pero suportahan natin yung pangarap ng batang ‘to. Malayo mararating mo baby girl basta maging humble ka lang palagi at magpapakabait sa magulang mo. Subscribe tayo sa kaya," Kiray wrote.
Meanwhile, Mary Grace appreciated the effort and thanked the actress and other netizens. She wrote, "Thank you so much ms kiray celis at sa lahat na nag subscribe saakin abangan niyo po ang bagong video ko."
At 100K subscribers, Mary Grace is expected to receive a Silver Play Button award from YouTube.
