MANILA, Philippines – Heart Evangelista sent a Valentine’s Day Gift to the kid rejected by a girl for being too thin and for not eating vegetables – and netizens really loved how she made the kid feel so much better.
It all started when a teacher of Cristo Elementary School in Donsol, Sorsogon, shared the “love letter” (actually a “rejection letter”) written by one of her students in Grade 4, just some weeks before Valentine’s Day. The girl, identified only as “Danica”, writes to a certain “Eman” to apologize for not choosing him.
It turned out that young girl has another suitor named “Inoy”. She likes him better than Eman.

Of course, love letters have long been exchanged between sweethearts of all ages, particularly those in school, but this “rejection letter” got everyone’s attention because of Danica’s reasons why she picked Inoy instead of Eman.
In her rejection letter, Danica explains to Eman that she is in love with Inoy and that she doesn’t like him because he’s too thin and he doesn’t eat vegetables!
Netizens could not help but laugh over this bizarre rejection reason, especially because the young girl also tried to drive the point home by making a rather heartbreaking illustration: she and Inoy are inside a huge heart; while Eman is outside the heart.
Poor Eman is just watching the two inside the heart as Inoy gives Danica flowers in the drawing. Sadly, Eman wasn’t bringing flowers in that drawing, making netizens think whether Danica also preferred Inoy because he gave her flowers.

Taking pity on Eman, especially after the love letter went viral, a lot of netizens expressed their support to the young boy and advised him to not make a big deal out of this because he’s still so young. One of these is Heart Evangelista who sent the kid a package of goodies.
Heart, who happens to be the wife of Sorsogon governor Chiz Escudero, was in the area to celebrate her birthday. The actress decided to send Eman a Valentine’s Day gift to cheer him up, telling the young boy that in time he would find his one true love.
“Dear Ms. Heart, happy birthday and happy Valentine's day. Thank you sa gift kakain na po ako ng maraming gulay para tumaba na ako. Love, Eman,” the boy wrote to the actress.
She happily posted the boy’s letter.
“One of the sweetest birthday greetings I got! (heart emoji) Kain ka ng maraming gulay, Eman! Happy Valentine's Day din sayo at salamat sa pagalala ng birthday ko,” the actress wrote in reply.
