GMA News reporters Rida Reyes and Cedric Castillo have finally tied the knot in a beautiful wedding held at Vieux Chalet in Antipolo. Among the many guests, the couple celebrated their big day with no less than President Duterte.

In a series of photos shared by former GMA reporter Steve Dailisan, the president can be seen all smiles as he posed next to anchors Mel Tiangco and Vicky Morales. Duterte also mingled with the other wedding guests as he was seen in another photo with other GMA anchors Julius Segovia, JP Soriano and John Consulta.

The wedding of Reyes and Castillo was well attended by their colleagues in the network. Spotted in the event were Unang Hirit hosts Arnold Clavio and Susan Enriquez. Former GMA reporter Mark Zambrano was also there with his wife, singer Aicelle Santos.

Reyes and Castillo married after three months of being engaged. It was in December when Castillo got down on one knee to propose to Reyes in front of her family.

Meanwhile, netizens expressed their comments on Duterte's presence amidst the franchise woes of GMA's rival network, ABS-CBN.

A netizen said, "Winner yung ngiti ni Mareng Mel ngiting panalo ng superlotto. Hello #abscbnhindilahatngarawfiesta."

Another netizen said it's best not to put any color on the President's decision to attend. He wrote, "Huwag niyong kulayan. Utak talaga ninyo porke't nakipa-pic bigyan niyo na ng malisya. Huwag ganoon."
