Abigail Danao Leste, an OFW who worked in Singapore for 14 years, was one of the 2 victims who were killed in a car crash last December 29. A car reportedly made a U-turn in Lucky Plaza mall and sped right into a group of Pinays having a picnic.

Abigail's family is still in shock with the tragic accident that ended her life. Her eldest son, Jhef Umoquit Leste wrote an emotional post yearning for their mother to be home and alive.

Writing in Ilocano, Jhef wrote, “Mom, what are we going to do now? You even called us yesterday and we had a good conversation. And then something happened to you."

According to the grieving son, he and his younger sibling are waiting for their mother so they could celebrate New Year together. He said after working for 14 years, it was time for their mother to come home.

"Please come home to us, you have been away for 14 years, that is enough. Please come home alive even though our lives won’t be easy. Please come home. We cannot live without you, mom. I will wait here with my younger sibling," Jhef said.

In his tearful pleading, the son revealed they last saw each other in 2016. He said they are at a loss on how to go on with their lives without their mother.

"You’re the only one left to help us. We will wait for you to join us to celebrate the New Year. We haven’t been together since 2016. Please come home. We miss you. We can’t go on without you. We don’t know what to do," he said.
