The original uploader wished the boy good luck, saying that she hopes he would find success in the future. Sha also wrote that she hopes this kid would be an inspiration to many others who would try their best to earn money and succeed in life.

She is also hoping that someone would be touched by the child’s photos and provide him with a scholarship so he would not have to do this every day. According to Sha, the kid could often be seen near the cathedral in Lipa, Batangas.

Based on the comments posted by several netizens, Sha’s observation about the kid being there a lot of times is true. Several also commented that they had seen the same boy studying while selling sampaguita.

Sha and the many netizens who commented on the post expressed admiration that he would find time to study while he sells sampaguita. This simply shows that he is determined to do well in school and, hopefully, get high grades so he could have a better future as he completes his studies.

Considering that he could be poor because he had to sell sampaguita for his allowance, many netizens agree with Sha that someone should help give scholarship to this kid so he could be assured of a better future.

Sha posted an update to the kid, saying that he and his parents only got to the cathedral after his classes end at 3PM; thus, those who wish to personally meet him and give him money or buy his sampaguita could find him later in the afternoon.
