MANILA, Philippines – You can find love in the most unexpected places… and for one woman, she found the love of her life in a drawing she made back when she was still in Grade School! Now, isn’t that destiny?
Recently, Ariadne Daluz shared the story of how she drew her ‘dream guy’ back in elementary and ended up marrying the guy who looked like the imaginary crush she had in that drawing!
It was back when she and her best friend Unis were in Grade 6, sometime in 2005 to 2006, that she drew the image of her ‘dream guy’. The two friends loved to write stories and also make drawings about random stuff.
One time, they decided that they should draw their dream guy, just some random guy they have not met. This imaginary crush was just a figment of their imagination, really, but Unis would be surprised to see the guy at Ariadne’s debut many years later!
The two best friends lost touch in high school after going separate ways. But on Ariadne’s debut, Unis spotted a guy who looked exactly like the guy her best friend had drawn as her ‘dream guy’ back in their elementary years!
Unis quickly messaged her friend, sharing the photo as she compared the imaginary friend with the guy at the debut, Larnille Chua Daluz. The resemblance was so striking that one might think Ariadne had drawn the sketch after meeting Larnille!
But the surprising thing is that the drawing was made sometime in 2005 to 2006 but Ariadne would actually meet Larnille in 2011. It was sweet, too, that the two had fallen in love and would later get married – perhaps they were really destined for each other?
Netizens could not get over the fact that this girl had drawn her future husband back when she was still in Grade 6. Her best friend even joked in a comment that she should probably find her own drawing, too, so she could also find the man of her dreams…
Other netizens joked that they would start drawing their ‘dream guy’ ASAP, in hopes that they might also be as lucky as Ariadne! Cute.
