Goin' Bulilit bids farewell after 14 years

MANILA, Philippines – 'Goin' Bulilit,' the longest-running kids sketch-comedy TV show in the country will air its final episode on August 4, ABS-CBN announced on Thursday.

The show has been on air for 14 years, providing laughter not just to kids but for adults too.

It was announced that they are now down to its last 2 weeks before finally saying its viewers goodbye.

On "Going Bulilit" official Facebook page, they started to gather their followers "Kwentong Bulilit", or the most memorable experience they have had with the show.

They also shared a short clip featuring the changes the show has been through the years. They also wrote a short and sweet, "Maraming salamat po" to all their avid fans.

The post stated, "14 years na po ang Goin Bulilit. Mula 2005 ay pinasaya nito ang ating Linggo. Kaya kung meron kayong di malilimutang kuwento tungkol sa Goin Bulilit; mga napanood sa show, epekto ng show sa buhay nyo, at kung ano pang magandang alaala, i-Share nyo lang dito."

Heartwarming messages poured in as netizens recalled how "Goin Bulilit" became a part of their lives.

Meanwhile, a director of "Goin Bulilit," Badjie Mortiz, shared a touching photo of the show's child stars in a tight group hug. He said, "For always."
