Guidicelli was also granted military commendation medal for his efforts in San Miguel. He was recognized for initiating clean up drives in some schools and led the distribution of school supplies. The actor was also commended for serving as an inspiration to the youth.

Guidicelli also obtained the highest grade of 95.20% among 97 students in the class. He received a letter of commendation and a scout ranger replica for the recognition.

During the graduation day, the Filipino-Italian actor was supported by his family and celebrity girlfriend Sarah Geronimo. They all looked proud as the actor was recognized.

Just a day after the ceremony, Guidicelli went on social media to celebrate the end of his training. Posting a photo of himself wearing a full army uniform and sporting a crew cut hairstyle. The actor said the scout training was the “best experience of my life.”

Guidicelli said, “Lessons, experiences, struggles, challenges, emotions. Difficult to explain. But what I can say is that it has been the best experience of my life. “Take and take.” “One day at a time.” And everything will be okay. God bless our soldiers and their families. Unity is the only solution to be a great nation, let's do it.”

The Bagani star announced on April 15 that he was joining the Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM). Guidicelli said he decided to join the Philippine Army because he loves the country. He thanked the people who supported his decision and shared his optimism saying, “Exciting times ahead.”

At that time, Guidicelli even quoted Major Gen. Bernie Langub, commander of ARESCOM saying, “The rank is emplaced near their heart because it means only those who have the heart to serve will be fit to wear the uniform. It is beyond the uniform, it is all about willingness to serve the country and being prepared for any eventuality.”

The Facebook page “We Support AFP” shared photos of the actor while on training. Aside from sporting a shaved head, Guidicelli was seen getting dirty on physical obstacle races with his team. Their challenges were made to test their endurance, stamina and dedication to their commitment.

Guidicelli described it as, “It’s said to be one of the most grueling programs in the Armed Forces.”

According to Brig. Gen. Wilson Gonzales, commander of 1st Scout Ranger Regiment, Guidicelli was the only Army Reservist who personally asked to be enlisted in the leadership development course.

Gonzales said the actor visited the camp to ask if he can join the training. He said, “This started a few months ago when he visited us then he asked what is a Scout Ranger… He is really interested.”

Before asking to be enlisted as an Army Reservist, Guidicelli was already part of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary.
