Teachers buy uniforms, shoes for poor brothers to use on Moving Up ceremony

But it is a sad reality that many students do not have uniforms and black shoes to wear on these events, mostly because their families are too poor to buy them these much-needed clothing.

Netizen Rayhana B. Muhamad shared photos and a video of kind teachers who bought uniforms and black shoes for poor brothers to use during their Moving Up Ceremony after seeing that the kids were the only ones who were wearing slippers and civilian outfits.

Using money that they pooled among themselves, the teachers took the children’s sizes for their uniform polos and pants as well as their shoes before hurrying off to the store to buy the items.

Netizens were impressed by what the teachers had done, saying that it really is true that teachers are the children’s second parents because these teachers made sure these brothers dressed their best for the occasion.

Other netizens commented that teachers are not rich and they probably have families of their own to support, yet these teachers showed compassion to these students even if they didn’t really have to do it.

According to Rayhana, the teachers even gave the kids money to use after their Moving Up Ceremony, knowing they don’t have anything to use to celebrate the moment.
