MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday, October 23, that 25 out of 188 (13.30%) passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE) given by the Board of Accountancy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and in Singapore last August 2018.
The Board of Accountancy is composed of Noe G. Quiñanola, Chairman; Marko Romeo L. Fuentes, Vice Chairman; Gloria T. Baysa, Samuel B. Padilla, Arlyn Juanita S. Villanueva, Thelma S. Ciudadano and Gervacio I. Piator, Members.

On Monday, PRC released the results of October 2018 CPA board exam. A total of 3,616 out of 14,358 (25.18%) passed the exams. Lahaira Amy Cayog Reyes of University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the board with 91.83%. University of the Philippines (UP) -Diliman and De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila hailed as the top performing schools.
