MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hailed the top performing schools in the June 2018 nurse licensure examination (NLE) or nursing board exam. The results are officially released on Tuesday, June 19 or in nine (9) working days after the last day of exam per PRC Resolution No. 2017-1068.
West Visayas State University (WVSU) - La Paz, Velez College and Xavier University topped the board with 100% passing rate.
PRC conducted the nurse licensure exam in Manila, all regional offices nationwide (Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao) and Zamboanga on June 3 and 4, 2018.

In the June 2017 NLE, Xavier University (XU) topped the schools garnering 100% passing rate or all 60 examinees passed the exam. West Visayas State University (WVSU)- La Paz and Bicol University (BU) - Legazpi City ranked second and third, with 99.21% and 84.47%, respectively.
In the June 2016 exams, PRC recognized WVSU- La Paz as the top performing school, 100-percent passing percentage or 96 examiness successfully hurdled the exams. BU-Legazpi and Far Eastern University (FEU)-Manila placed second and third, respectively.
