Late last year, netizens had a good laugh about the faceless Php100 bills that one person received from an ATM. Due to a printing error, the paper money had all the other prints and the security features but did not have the face of Manuel Roxas, the fifth President of the Republic of the Philippines.

Weeks later, Roxas was supposedly ‘found’ by another netizen to be vacationing in Bicol as he saw that the Php100 he had had two faces. The front face had Roxas’ photo while the back part, where the Mayon Volcano is printed, also had his face.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) admitted that these were printing glitches. Although the paper bills with these errors are still considered as valid, netizens were encouraged to return these to the nearest BSP office so these can be removed from circulation.

Of course, it is easy to understand and even imagine what could have caused these printing errors. After all, the BSP uses several processes when printing money; thus, the faceless bills might have skipped a few steps or could have through extra steps due to machine error.

But the printing error on the money received by Reina Jean Prescillas is just too crazy! A lot of netizens even believe she was making this up and that the photos must have surely been edited to make the former president’s face appear to have a cleft palate! Do you think so, too?

Prescillas insists that she was not lying. According to a post on the official Facebook page of GMA News, Prescillas received the money from the ATM at an undisclosed bank in Quezon City. She has already arrived home when she noticed the strange glitch.

She went back to the bank to report the incident.

Have you experienced seeing glitches on the money you received?
