VIDEO: NU Pep Squad Cheerdance Competition CDC 2017 performance

    MANILA, Philippines - The National University (NU) Pep Squad failed to win their fifth straight title in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Cheerdance Competition on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

    The reigning champions are trying to make history of joining the elite club of five-peat winners. Only University of Santo Tomas (UST) Salinggawi Dance Troupe holds the record after winning from 2002 to 2006.

    The Sampaloc-based squad, which holds the most convincing win in the UAAP history, ended up in a tie for fourth-place with the Far Eastern University (FEU) Cheering Squad with a score of 610.50.

    Adamson University Pep Squad won the competition with 663.50 total points. UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe and the University of the East (UE) Pep Squad were the runners-up with 638.50 and 634.50 points, respectively.
