Racine Pregunta, who lives in Davao City, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of cancer that starts with the bones. She was admitted in Southern Philippines Medical Center to receive treatment in October 2016, but died several months later on April 17.

For months, relatives didn’t give an update about Racine’s condition so her friends were clueless about her ordeal. But on April 19, Racine’s sister Rolyn decided to shed light on her sister’s death.

Just like Paolo Ballesteros’ iconic character Trisha Echevarria, Racine wanted to prepare for her departure. Here’s her story, according to Rolyn.

“It was April 12, 2017... Before she informed everyone that she's ready to go. She had these requests: An off-shoulder white dress and a white flowerband. The next day, she asked for something that's Violet, Blue and Mint Green,” Rolyn wrote on her viral Facebook post.

Aside from that request, Racine asked to be buried next to her father. However, granting this request would mean buying the lot next to her father’s grave. Racine’s mom then suggested that they put her on top of her father’s grave.

Racine agreed to her mom’s suggestion.

Finally, Racine requested to have her funeral make-up be done by her personal makeup artist Ate Gladys.

"If I die, I want to die BEAUTIFUL,” Racine told her sister before she passed away.

Racine’s heartbreaking story, which has sent netizens to tears, has gone viral getting at least 5,000 and over 27,000 reactions on Facebook.
