The said video was posted on Wednesday, September 21, from a Facebook page “OFW in Israel Foundation” but the page wrote that the video is not originally from them but rather was sent from Ferdie Topacio, former legal counsel of Mike Arroyo and former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Topacio is now the legal counsel of high profile inmates of New Bilibid Prison (NBP).

In the video, 4 inmates from a ‘maximum prison’ (as read in their clothes) sing a song allegedly dedicated to De Lima. Out of the 4 is the familiar face of convicted crime leader and drug lord Herbert Colanggo whom testified against De Lima on a televised hearing at the House of Representatives last Tuesday.

Colanggo and other inmates sang a song entitled “Akala Mo Lang Yon” by Colanggo himself whom stars at the song’s music video which was reported shot inside NBP. In the viral video, the said song is allegedly pointing to the former Justice Sectary.

“Huwag mong husgahan ang kahit na sino
Sya lang ang may lam kung ano ang totoo
huwag mong husgahan ang buhay ng iba
ng di ka rin naman mahusgahan nila…” sang by Colangco and rest of the inmates.

The two-minute video immediately reached viral status as it was liked by more than 34,000 and was shared by over 67,000 as of press time.
On Monday September 19, Senator Leila De Lima walked out of the Senate Hall during Sen. Allan Peter Cayetano’s privilege speech. On Monday night too, the Senate voted out De Lima as the Senate Justice Committee Chair.

Last Tuesday September 20, on a televised hearing Colanggo testified against De Lima allegedly giving her P3M monthly as “payola.”
