The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced on Thursday, September 1, that 4,144 out of 5,126 (80.84%) passed the Medical Technologist (Medtech) board exam given by the Board of Medical Technology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Tuguegarao last August 2016.
PRC has named Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus, Cebu Doctors' University, Saint Louis University (SLU), University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos as the top performing schools in the medtech board exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. The said institutions garnered 100-percent passing rate.
Completing the top 5 are Angeles University Foundation (99.23%), Far Eastern University -Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (98.84%), Velez College (98.56%) and University of San Agustin (98.25%).
