'Pokemon GO' coming to Asia in the next 48 hours?

MANILA, Philippines - The long wait will soon be over as the new global craze augmented-reality game 'Pokemon GO' is coming to Asian countries in the next days (48 hours), according to “industry experts” on Wednesday, July 13.

'Pokemon GO' coming to Asia in next 48 hours

Following the release of 'Pokemon GO' in Germany today and United States, Australia and New Zealand by Niantic and Nintendo last week, Filipino fans' keenness to finally download and play the app rises.

In a recent statement released by The Wall Street Journal, it has reported that Pokémon GO will launch in Europe and Asia “within a few days.”

However, the Pokémon Company is recommending Japan users to “please wait for a while” for the app’s official launch on this market.

Some game experts believe that release is within 48 hours due to the following: iOS App Store refreshes every Thursdays globally, servers have been strengthening the past few days and lesser reports of glitches happening.

On its official Facebook page, the company said: "We will make it available to more countries in the coming days. We want to provide every Trainer with the best experience possible and appreciate your continued support."

'Pokemon GO' has been updated as well and has been improved on these aspects:

  • Trainers do not to have to enter their username and password repeatedly after a force log out.
  • Increased server stability
  • Resolved many issues causing crashes
  • Rectified iOS permissions.
  • Pokémon Trainer Club login issues resolved

Once released, take note of the following supported devices and other requirements:

  • Android 4.4 to Android 6.0.1
  • (Android N will not supported until the official Android release)
  • Preferred resolution of 720x1280 pixels (Not optimized for tablet)
  • Strong internet connection (Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G)
  • GPS and Location Services
  • Intel CPUs are not supported

iOS
