MANILA, Philippines - After Tiffany Grace C. Uy trended online as she got the highest general weighted average grade (GWA) after World War II in the history of University of the Philippines (UP), the list of other achievers was revealed online.

Community Fanpage on Facebook, The Diliman Files has shared the (5) highest GWAs recorded in the history of UP on Saturday. "The 5 Summa Cum Laude. Mabuhay UP! Mabuhay ang mga Iskolar ng Bayan!"

According to the data, Exequiel S. Sevilla's GWA of flat 1.0 has not yet been matched at that university to this date. He is considered to be one of the 4 pillars of the Philippine actuarial profession. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce.

Uy, who graduated with BS Biology degree ranked second with 1.004 GWA. She broke the record previously held by John Gabriel Pelias. Pelias made headlines in 2011 when he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a GWA of 1.016.

In fourth place is Emerenciana Yuvienco-Arcellana, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1948 with WAG of 1.020.

Dr. Gertrude Gwendale Baron-Reinoso, who graduated in 1982 with an average of 1.030 is in fifth spot. She also studied Biology and went on to become a doctor.
