NAPOLCOM exam results April 2014 list of passers

    The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) released results of April 2014 PNP Entrance and Promotional Exam on June 7, 2014. List of passers and Top 20 for PNP, Superintendent, Police Inspector, Senior Police Officer and Police Officer are available on this page as officially released online.

    A total of 35,357 examinees took the Philippine National Police (PNP) entrance and promotional examinations on Sunday, April 27, 2014 in designated testing centers nationwide: Makati, San Fernando (La Union), Tuguegarao, San Fernando (Pampanga), Cabanatuan, Calamba, Cavite, Calapan, Legazpi, Iloilo, Cebu, Tacloban, Pagadian, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Koronadal, Cotabato, Butuan and Baguio, and in Odiongan, Romblon; Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro; Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte; and Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

    NAPOLCOM Vice Chairman and Executive Officer Eduardo U. Escueta said that 14,256 took the PNP entrance examination while 21,101 were distributed to the various promotional test categories.

    Escueta said that a total of 1,151 out of the 14,256 examinees for the PNP entrance test and 3,797 out of the 21,101 examinees for promotional tests took the PNP exams in the National Capital Region (NCR) testing centers, namely Pitogo High School, Benigno Aquino High School and Fort Bonifacio High School, all in Makati City.

    April 2014 NAPOLCOM exam covers the qualifying examinations for Police Officer I and the promotional examinations for Police Officers 2 and 3; Senior Police Officer (for SPO1 to SPO4); Police Inspector (for Inspector and Senior Inspector); and Police Superintendent (for Chief Inspector and Superintendent).

    The PNP entrance examination consists of questions on general information, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and logical reasoning; while the promotional examinations include general information, police administration and operations, and police customs and tradition/values and ethical standards.

    Availability of Results, Report of Rating

    In May 2013 exam, results were officially announced online after two (2) months from the date of examination. In addition, April 2012 exams have results posted also in 2 months after the exam.

    Aside from online availability of results, NAPOLCOM will also notify nationwide results via post at the commission's central office located at the DILG-NAPOLCOM Center, located at EDSA corner Quezon Avenue, West Triangle, Quezon City. Regional list will be posted in each of the NAPOLCOM Regional offices also.

    Report of Rating (RR) will be mailed to the examinee's mailing address. Verification may be made with the Examination Division, Personnel and Administrative Service (PAS), NAPOLCOM Central Office. An examinee who passed the test but did not receive his/her RR may request for issuance of a certification from the same office, upon payment of One Hundred Fifty Pesos P150.00. For requests sent through postal mail, payment shall be in money order form payable to the National Police Commission, # 371 Senator Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City 1200.

    The National Police Commission conducts two sets of police exam every year. This includes Promotional Exam ( for those who already in the police service) and another is PNP Entrance Exam (for those aspiring to enter PNP).

    The PNP ENTRANCE EXAMINATION is open to all Filipino citizens who possess the age, height and educational requirements as provided in the PNP Examination announcement and for Police Officers I (PO1) whose appointments are temporary for lack of appropriate eligibility.
