Vhong Navarro on 'Failon Ngayon' interview: 'Miss na miss ko na ang magpatawa uli'

Manila, Philippines – ABS-CBN's 'Failon Ngayon' on Saturday, February 8, 2014 airs the exclusive one-on-one interview with comedian Vhong Navarro to reveal some stories from the mauled actor two weeks after the The Fort condo incident.

In the taped interview, Vhong cries as he narrates some stories during the incident and personal effects of the controversy to his life.

"Mabilis ang pangyayari. Wala po ako time makalaban at di ako lalaban specially may baril po ang isa sa kanila at kinasahan ako."

When asked about the 'pangbababoy issue", Vhong defined it as the mauling, when his pants was pulled down while Cedric Lee's group laughed on him and when he was forced to say something untruthful.

Vhong became emotional when asked about being a family man and how he will rise again.

"Mahirap po Sir Ted. Di ko alam kung saan ako magsisimula kasi sa nangyari sa buhay ko, parang pelikula. Natatakot ako sa mga anak ko kasi nag-aaral sila. Kasi gusto ko maging normal lang buhay nila eh. Kaya nga po gusto ko maging matatag na makita. Ayaw ko na makita sa kanila na natatakot ako. Kasi sa una naming pagkikita gusto ko umiyak pero kailangang makita nila sa akin na kayo ko eh. Gusto ko alamin kung kaya ko, kaya din nila eh."

"Miss na miss ko na ang magpatawa uli... Ang mga katrabaho ko...", Vhong said.

The actor said he's thankful to his girlfriend for the support amidst the pressing issue.

"Sa lahat ng ginawa ko nandyan parin siya (Vhong's Girlfriend)... di niya ako iniwan."

When asked the date the comedian will return to It's Showtime, the actor said there's still no definite time.

Ted also asked the lesson the actor learned from the issue, Vhong said: " Wake up call na siguro ito para di na ako lumandi".

At the end of the interview, Vhong Navarro refused to give message to Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee.

Vhong claimed that he was set up by model Deniece Cornejo for an extortion attempt allegedly led by businessman Cedric Lee. The actor said he was blindfolded, tied up and attacked by "six to seven men" inside Cornejo's condominium unit.

On Thursday afternoon, Vhong was was discharged from the St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City and went straight to the Department of Justice (DOJ) to attest the complaint he filed against Lee and Cornejo.
