Unstoppa-Bowles Clinched BMEG to PBA Championship

In the ultimate showdown before two great squads, it came down to the team with the Best Import. Denzel Bowles made two pressure-packed free throws to force overtime with 1.2 seconds to go, before taking over in the extra period to lift the B-MEG Llamados to the Commissioner’s Cup crown over the defending champions Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters, 90-84.

"I'm speechless, I'm so speechless. I'm just so proud of my team," said Bowles afterwards. "I'm so glad I came to B-MEG planet...[and] won my first championship, with this team."

Bowles calmly made both free throws to tie the game at 76-all. Jason Castro got the inbound but his heave managed to hit only the backboard.

B-meg's James Yap was named Most Valuable Player of the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

The "PBA Finals" became trending topics in Twitter and  with the earlire trending of Talk ‘n Text players Ali Peek and Jimmy Alapag.
