Jeia Guingue, a medtech from Adela Serra Ty Memorial Medical Center in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, didn't let even a huge blaze stop her from finishing her duty.

According to her colleague Stefan Balani, he was impressed by the bravery of Jeia when a fire hit a building near them on Monday. He posted a photo of a blaze while Jeia continued to finish her laboratory tests.

"This happened a few moments after my duty but one brave colleague chose to stay and continue cross matching blood for a newborn patient. The real Call of Duty, all in the name of saving the lives of others," he shared.

Stefan recalled how they were all surprised that Jeia didn't run to evacuate the building immediately when there was a nearby fire.

Stefan added that Jeia knew how important it was to immediately release the test results for the newborn baby. She controlled her fears and recognized her role and needs of the newborn baby.

Stefan and many netizens lauded the dedication of the brave medtech and hoped many more workers would put their hearts in their service.
