MANILA, Philippines – Rabiya Mateo's dream of bringing home the country's fifth Miss Universe crown has come to an end.

The 24-year-old Mateo from Iloilo City failed to advance to the Top 10 of the competition. She made it to the Top 21.

The pageant is still ongoing at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Florida, USA.

The Philippines so far has 4 Miss Universe titlists: Catriona Gray in 2018, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015, Margie Moran in 1973, and Gloria Diaz in 1969.
