For real-life besties, Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis, this will be the first time they will be working on a movie together. Anne admitted feeling a bit nervous because the genre of their movie will be comedy.

She said, "Kinakabahan nga ako kasi if you look at the films I did last year, I did a lot of serious films, so it's gonna be a different genre for me. Comedy ito, so kinakabahan ako."

Anne top billed the 2018 MMFF entry, "Aurora." The horror film was directed by Yam Laranas and was awarded as "2nd Best Picture."

Vice's 2018 MMFF entry "Fantastica” broke records and was hailed as the highest grossing MMFF entry of the It’s Showtime host.

Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza are back for another MMFF entry. Last year, the two starred alongside Coco Martin for "Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles." The film was awarded, "Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award", "Best Editing," and "Best Float."
