LIST: MRT, LRT, PNR Holy Week 2019 Schedule

MANILA, Philippines – Heads up, train commuters!

The Metro Rail Transit (MRT), Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Philippine National Railways (PNR) will be suspending their operations in lieu of the observance of Holy Week, particularly on April 18 (Maundy Thursday) to April 21 (Easter Sunday).

The suspension of operations is to give way for the annual maintenance works for MRT as well as the LRT 1 and 2.

MRT schedule

On March 19, MRT3 management announced longer suspension of operations from April 15 to 21 due to "current degraded condition of MRT3" with the goal of improving the reliability of the system.


Resumption of normal operations is on April 22 (Monday).

LRT schedule

Both LRT Lines 1 and 2 will be closed from Maundy Thursday, April 18, to Easter Sunday, April 21.

Normal operations will resume on April 22.

PNR schedule

PNR Management announced there will be no train operations on April 18 to 20. Operations will resume in the the afternoon of Easter Sunday, April 21.

NOTE: April 21 - Train operations will resume at 1:37 p.m. (Tutuban-Alabang) and 1:02 p.m. (Tutuban-Governor Pascual)

PNR Bicol Commuter Train: No revenue operations on April 18, 19, 20; operations will resume at 3:30 p.m. on April 21.

MMDA ADVISORY

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) earlier announced the suspension of the number coding scheme from April 17-22 for the observance of Holy Week.
